Me Born... in Brighton, E.Sussex. 1966 Then... lived & schooled in Lewes, E.Sussex. Studied in Oxford (maths + philosophy) & London ("cognitive science", whatever that is). Now working... As a senior software engineer on Football Superstars, a football MMO, for Cyberports Ltd. Based in Farringdon. Previously working.. In the Applied Clinical Anatomy Research Group at Guy's Hospital medical school (now taken over by KCL. Basically, we measured features of joint pathology from x-rays using computerised image analysis. I obtained my PhD while working at Guy's, and also spent some time working on a state-of-the-art high magnification CT set. Then I spent a year as a Research Fellow in the Astronomy Centre at the University of Sussex. I am working on source detection algorithms for locating and characterising images of stars and galaxies, in particular those which will be provided by a new infra-red detector called SPIRE which due to be launched on the European Space Agency's Herschel satellite early in 2009. Then changed career path for Computer Games (which I don't play, but enjoy making). For 18 months as a Programmer on Championship Manager for BGS/Eidos, until they closed down UK development of the game. Curriculum Vitae Publications Living... in Hackney since 1996 Playing...
