on telly.

- has a "sports bar" in Holborn (spot the pattern) which can usually be
relied upon to show Arsenal games.

- is a taxi driver in Croydon

- Had spells as manager of Celtic and then 2nd division Brighton and
Hove Albion, before returning to Highbury in the summer of 96 in the
new post of Head of Youth Development.

- "currently a DSA qualified driving instructor in home town of

- is an insurance salesman in Brighton
- Alan Ball
- Had reasonably successful spells as manager of Exeter and then Portsmouth.
Survived as Southampton manager thanks to a certain Channel Islander.
Was touted as a possible Arsenal manager but ended up taking Man City
out of the Premiership and getting the sack for it.

- is a social worker in Kilmarnock

- sacked as manager of Leipzig - October 1994

- assistant to Bryan Robson at Middlesbrough
- Malcolm Macdonald
- successful businessman in Milan (?)
- Graham Rix
- assists Glen Hoddle at Chelsea, and makes occasional CWC appearances. (maybe he'll take a
penalty for them :-)))
- Frank Stapleton
- Coached US "soccer" team The New England Revolution. . Resigned autumn 1996 after several very public
disagreements with Alexei Lalas and failing to take the "Revs" to the
end-of-season play-offs.
- Frank McLintock
- Football agent & occasional commentator on Capital Gold
- Bob Wilson
- After many years as the Beeb's "Mr Football" on Football Focus, Bob recently
made the move to ITV to front their footie coverage. He is still doing an excellent
job of focussing on the Arsenal at every opportunity. Definitely a true Gooner.
- Kenny Sansom
- Player-coach of Watford reserve team. Has turned out at least once for Watford 1st team (94-95 season).

- Manager of Slough Town (Vauxhall Conference). He got Kenny Sansom to turn out for them
in 1995/96 season.

- Doing great things with the defence at Leeds United
- Jeff Blockley
- We did have a report that Blockley had been seen
asking for spare change in a shopping precinct
in Coventry. Now we're happy to report that, as of 18 months ago,
he was working somewhere between Coventry and Leicester and playing golf with
the Leicester City press officer. Sorry if what we said caused any
unnecessary concern, and thanks to Giles and Paul for the info.

"Jimmy is currently the
goalkeeper coach for the Dalian Shide F.C. in China. Shide have won the Premier League
Championship for four out of the last five years. Previously, he was goalkeeper coach for
the Chinese National Team for the 1996 season. He actually hasn't been at Swansea for some
time."
