- Arsenal debut: v Liverpool at Highbury, Barclays league, Aug 87 (1-2)
- England International. Infamously replaced Gary Lineker in Sweden when Graham Taylor ended the latter's International career a few minutes early.
- Retired through injury in the summer of 1995.
