ArseWEB - Bruce Rioch

  • Appointed: 8th June 1995
  • Sacked: 12th August 1996
  • Previous club: Bolton (Rioch brought them from the 3rd division to the Premiership, winning an exciting play-off final in 1995 after being 2-0 down to Reading at Wembley).
  • Other managerial jobs: Middlesbrough, Millwall
  • Played for: Derby, Villa, Luton, Scotland.
  • Rioch is Scottish, and played football for Scotland. But we have been told that, as a Cambridge schoolboy, he was a fervent England supporter, travelling to Wembley for matches wearing his beloved England scarf.
