Arsenal credit crad
using this card makes money for the Arsenal youth development programme. Let's face it there are probably more worthy recipients of our charity, but then again there are worse goals than cultivating the next Tony Adams etc.

  • In fact, they now have a web site which will be more up-to-date than the following

Buying Shares in Arsenal FC

Here's what we know, correct to the best of our knowledge on 29th July 1999....
  • Arsenal shares are traded on the "OFEX" exchange, run by stockbroker JP Jenkins
  • There are 55000 shares issued and approximately 70% of them are owened by the directors. This means that they're not that easy to get hold of at a good price, although any good stockbroker should be able to buy/sell them at some price.
  • The current price, and other OFEX info, can be found on the OFEX web site (simply click on "prices")
  • The share price is also listed in FT daily under OFEX.
  • High/low prices for this year were: 3300/2000
  • The only brokers who trade them are "Brewer and Dolphin" (EC1?)
Thanks to Sam Harkness and Ben for the info.

Dog coats

Yes, that's coats for dogs. Whether you have a dog or not, whether you want a coat for it or not, you'll be glad you visited Soccer Dog Coats.

Wine

See here for Chateau Vieira. It's a Swedish site but the wine should be available elsewhere. Thanks to Paul Cohen for the tip-off. He writes:

"I voud like to take ze ôppertunity to recomender a very nice wine for your new yearz eve dinner. Ze wine haz ze same name as ze best midfielder in ze vorld.

Ze wine is Château Vieira and zit is a Bordeaux Superieur wine which is very aggressif but will win you over wiz its staying power, creativité and elegance. Alzo best bottle is frôm 1998. Very good year. World cup and double. Make you fôrget about sad seasons very fast.

Zit can be bôt in Sweden, bôt you should be able to buy zit in Angleterre also.

Hâppy Nyw [Hic] Year"

Another lucky ArseWeb reader Jeffrey Jenner found a bottle in a mixed crate, apparently it's a "Bordeaux Superieur" (naturally)
