QPR 3 Arsenal 1
Hillier and Parlour dropped out and Morrow and Helder came in, otherwise
the same side as THursday. Not that they were recognisable as such.
An absolutely appalling performance. THey did look pretty jaded
after
the opening 15 mins but surely this doesn;t bode well for our
premiership survival with three games in 6 days coming up. From the
moment QPR scored the result was scarecely in doubt. Ferdinand was
allowed a free header at the far post he headed back for the
equally
unmarked Impey to hammer home. Impey gave Winterburn a torid time
all afternoon. Wright nearly levelled with our only decent effort.
Played in on the right edge of the box he hammered it past Roberts
only to see it hit the inside of the post and come out to safety.
QPR went further ahead when Impey strolled into the box and cut
the ball back to Gallon who hit in off of a post. THe third QPR goal
came after Dixon slipped as he tried to turn. A couple of shots
were
beaten away before the ball fell nicely to McDonald who hammered
gleefully into the empty net. Things could have been worse as
Seaman
produced a fine save from a Ferdinand drive. All in all an
absolutely
appalling performance.
