FA Premier Academy League U18

The Premier League have reorganised the youth academy league set up this season, replacing the 2 separate under-19 & under-17 leagues with a single nationwide under-18 youth league, though a rule change means that 3 over-age players can be used in each team. Given that the reserve squad is made up of mainly under-20 year olds, Arsenal seem unlikely to take advantate of this rule though. To quote Liam Brady, "for Arsenal I don't see many changes. Last year we played mainly U18s in the U19 team, and schoolboys in the U17s, so it will be similar this year."

Match reports, where available, are linked to from the dates in the fixture/results list below. Arsenal's score first.

U18 Table

The table below is deduced from Arsenal's fixture list. I'm assuming that the new U18 league will take a similar format to the old U19 league, ie there will be four 9 or 10 team regional conferences. Arsenal are in one of the southern leagues again, though with a different make up to last season.
To be confirmed.

FA Premier Academy U16

There is also a parallel series of under-16 fixtures, in which presumably only schoolboys participate, though there is no corresponding league table or national competition as for the U18s. Arsenal's fixture list is similar to the U18s and shows games against most other southern region clubs.
NB Results are difficult to obtain, so unlikely to be updated frequently.
