  • Arsenal team news
Campbell is not available, although he has made an early rteturn to light trainign after his hamstring problem.

So the central defensive crisis is back, with Adams missing (foot again, plus groin) and Grimandi still troubled by the calf strain which saw him leave the pitch early on Saturday. So, presumably it'll be Keown and Upson at the back, with errr Luzhny on the bench?

Edu and Dixon are still out. Cole returns after his 1-match European suspension.

Bergkamp stays at home, of course.

There were worries about Lauren and a possible knee injury, but he came through a full training session on Tuesday with no problems. It doesn't bear thinking about...

  • Panathinaikos team news
Michael Konstantinou is a fitness doubt. The Cypriot striker, who was the club's record signing, cut his head in a collision with the opposition keeper in their match against Panionis on Sunday. He needed 12 sticthes. Coach Giannis Kyrastas is expected to start with Goran Vlaovic for definite, probably partnered by Polish striker Emmanuel Olisadebe. But Konstantinou is still thought to have a slight chance.

Another player, midfielder Giorgios Karagounis, also needed stitches (in his jaw) after Sunday's match. But he is thought to be a better bet to make the starting line-up tonight.

And Greece defender Giorgios Seitaridis is almost certainly out after hurting a knee in training.

    Men to watch:

Paulo Sousa - experienced Portuguese midfield general.
Goran Vlaovic - Croatian striker - scored in both games so far.
    Fernando Galetto - Argentine midfielder.

There will be 7 Panathinaikos players in the Greece team facing England next week. 5 Greek internationals are expected to start against Arsenal.

Be warned, this is a much more dangerous team than the one we beat twice in 1998.

See team roster from PAO Cyberfans.

  • UK TV/Radio coverage
Once again, Arsenal are considered the lesser attraction by ITV. While Liverpool get shown on ITV1 (terrestrial), Arsenal are relegated to ITV Sport (digital only). It stinks.
