Preview

  • Arsenal team news
Still out: Adams, Dixon, Jeffers (all rumoured to have returned to training), Seaman, Wright (no return to Portman Rd for the Extractor boy).

Stuart Taylor continues in goal. Martin Keown came through Grimsby match on Tuesday ok, so is in contention to replace one of Upson and Campbell.

Edu's impressive game against Grimsby could earn him a starting spot ahead of, say, Gio van Bronckhorst.

Luzhny could be available again, but must be further down the pecking order than ever.

    update Friday
The only new info on the official site's preview is the absence of Sylvain Wiltord with a thigh injury.

  • Ipswich_Town team news
Left-winger (?) Le Pen (we'd like to have seen him up against our black Frenchmen) and top striker Marcus Stewart are both out.

Playmaker Jim Magilton and Dutch midfielder Martijn Reuser are doubtful.

Finidi George has been out with a cheekbone fracture, but has been cleared to play again and could be in contention for the Arsenal match.

Dickensian defender Titus Bramble is likely to return after having been out with a calf, as are Mark Venus (thigh) and Sixto Peralta (groin).

    update Friday
Alun Armstrong is rated 50-50 with a tight hamstering. If he's not fit to start, then one of Pablo Counago, Richard Naylor, or Darren Bent will start up front alongside Marcus Bent.

    Magilton is apparently definitely out.
