  • Arsenal team news
Gilles Grimandi serves the 3rd and last match of his ban for slapping Simeone in the Lazio (away) match.
According to the Standard, Tony Adams is likely to return for this one, together with Thierry Henry and Silvinho.
But Patrick Vieira is unlikely to be risked as he's still feeling the ankle injury picked up last week. David Seaman is also unavailable but at least we have Manninger back now.
Dennis Bergkamp's unavailability means that (at least) one of Kanu and Wiltord will play alongside Henry.
Parlour will presumably fill one of the central midfield roles. Wenger may go attacking and put Ljungberg alongside him, or go for the more conservative and aggressive option of Vivas.
If Lee Dixon plays, it will be his 50th European appearance.

Yellow cards going into this match:
    Parlour (2), Keown (2), Henry (1), Lauren (1), Ljungberg (1), Seaman (1)

  • Spartak_Moscow team news
Key men are Brasilian strike pair Robson and Marcao. Their other striker Alexandr Shirko is ruled out with a thigh injury, and sweeper Dmitri Anankop faces a late test on an ankle problem.
Latvian Winger Andrejs Stolcers is on loan to Spartak from our old friends Shakhtar, but this coul dbe his last game fro Shakhtar as he's off to join Fulham.

Yellow cards going into this match:
Dmitri Parfenov (2), Dmitri Ananko (2), Victor Bulatov (2), Yuri Kovtun (1), Marcao (1), Robson (1), Andrejs Stolcers (1)
